On The Road To Williamsport

All the drama that only Little League baseball can deliver ... and then some

On the Road to Williamsport

Witnessing Little League at its best ... and its worst.  And, you won't believe how the final game ends.

  • Day 0: And so my journey on the road to Williamsport began, with one small and yet almost insurmountable dream - I want my child to smile again.
    - Baseball Mom

  • Day 25: And, the thing that makes me most angry ... the thing that I just can't let go:  Do you know what these fine upstanding members of the community did after they disparaged my son's character?  They washed their hands of their responsibilities for having contributed to the destruction of the reputation of a child, and then they went on with their lives without pausing to think another thought about it.
    - Baseball Mom

  • Day 65: There is an old saying that goes, "Hell has no fury like a woman scorned."  But, that's only because hell never saw the fury of the woman left behind in the parking lot by her husband after she stood, alone and friendless, and defended her family's honor.
    - Baseball Mom

  • Day 157: Believe it or not, dear reader, one parent, a mother, no less, questioned why my son had been selected for the All-Star team in the first place because my son was, according to her Facebook posting ... and I do quote,

    "A NUT JOB."
